Many cat parents will have questions about why cats don't spit out their tongues when they are hot. In fact, the heat dissipation function of cats mainly relies on the meat pads on their feet, and cats generally spit out their tongues for other reasons.

We all know that dogs dissipate heat through their tongues when they are hot to keep their body functions in balance. Many cat parents will have questions about why cats don't stick out their tongues when they are hot. In fact, the heat dissipation function of cats mainly relies on the fleshy pads on their feet, and cats generally vomit their tongues for other reasons.

       1. In the middle of summer, cats usually lazily lie down on bamboo chairs to sleep. Cats have sweat glands growing in their skin, but they are not developed, so the cat does not sweat profusely. In contrast, there are a large number of sweat glands growing on the fleshy pads on the bottom of the cat's feet, and while regulating body temperature through breathing, cats use the fleshy pads on the bottom of their feet to sweat profusely.

    2. Cats stick out their tongues, not because of heat. Cats feeling very comfortable, or habitual small movements, or discomfort on the tongue may do the tongue out action.
